Mileage Program

This mileage program is intended to be an incentive to ride and participate. It is not meant to be a competition. Mileage tracking is simply a way to promote friendly rivalry between members and provide a means of recognizing members that come out and support the Athens SCRC.

It is not a means to separate “good members” from “bad members” and is not a means to show non-participation. The Athens Chapter of the SCRC does not have required rides or mileage to remain a member.

Any questions or concerns about the mileage program can be addressed directly with the First Officer.

Official Ride Mileage Rules

1. Only official chapter rides will count towards mileage.

2. An official ride must be posted on the Delphi forum, chapter calendar, or e-mailed to all members at least 48 hours in advance of the ride by an officer of the club.

3. All rides must be on weekends or Holidays when most people are expected to be available. (See rules 4 & 5)

4. Long distance rides scheduled long in advance will count towards mileage regardless of day/days of week. Example: Savannah rally, Other SCRC State rally's etc.

5. First Officer may approve other appropriate short notice rides at his or her discretion.

6. All rides must have a specific starting and ending point. These will be determined by the Road Captain or by consensus of the group riding.

7. There must be at least 3 members present at the starting point for the ride to be official.

8. You must complete at least half of the ride to receive any mileage credit.

9. Mileage to and from starting or ending point of ride does not count towards mileage.

10. Passenger mileage counts the same as rider mileage.

11. Road Captain or person designated by Road Captain will be responsible for logging names of members present, official mileage of each, and forwarding that information to mileage coordinator.

12. Ya'll Come Ride And Let's Have Fun! Mileage patch's and rockers are to be paid for by the individual if desired. Every effort will be made to keep this cost as low as possible.

As an added incentive the Chapter will provide the patch’s and/or rockers as needed for the top 3 riders or passengers each year.

Mileage necessary for patch and rockers will be as follows:

Patch - 500 miles

Rocker - 1,000 miles

Rocker - 2,500 miles

Rocker - 5,000 miles

Rocker - 7,500 miles

Rocker - 10,000 miles

Rocker - 15,000 miles

Rocker - 20,000 miles

Rocker - 25,000 miles

Rocker - each additional 10,000 miles
